Jessica Warboys uses a variety of mediums, from video to ceramics, performance and painting. The artist’s films depict symbols, metaphors and associations of ideas and images to construct a story that everyone is free to interpret.
In Pageant Roll, made in 2012 for dOCUMENTA (13), assemblies of geometric objects such as hoops or squares recalling monochrome paintings are placed in a Cornish landscape dominated by Neolithic and Bronze Age menhirs.
