For his project entitled Le village du bout du monde, Stanislas Paruzel creates a film with the young people that live at the medical-educational institute Les Enfants au Pays, located in Poligné.

Aged from 10 to 20 years old, the children and teenagers work with the artist on all the stages of the film’s conception: writing the script, drawing the storyboard, creation of sets, costumes and props, shooting, sound recording, soundtrack, special effects, editing…

The young people experiment with writing and several techniques (drawing, painting, sculpting, assembling, video) to create a work that infuses fantasy and grotesque into elements from their daily lives.

Synopsis
Once upon a time, there was a small village lost somewhere between the mountains.
The fields were flourishing, work was not lacking, and the village offered a pleasant and peaceful environment to its population.
The villagers were hard-working and skillful, and the village prospered thanks to their dedication and perseverance.
This village was called “Le village du Bout du Monde” (The Village at the End of The World).

A shadow that had never before been so close to the village was beginning to appear timidly.
This threat would jeopardize the safety of the village.
