Amédée, a young stuntman, returns to her hometown by the sea. Wounded, she had to give up her career. She meets old acquaintances, that are sometimes disturbing. In the city and in herself, Amédée observes troubling changes.

La cascadeur is a visual object with cinematographic outlines, in which we find the technical organization of short film shootings, although here the whole team and most of the actors are visual artists.

Throughout the series, the artists who compose the team have taken on several roles. Bruno Peinado, for example, plays a role in it and composes the soundtrack for La cascadeure . Pierre Budet created the animated credits and is also a sound recorder and actor. Like the technical team, the authors of the series are also in front of the camera.

In parallel to this artistic team, Virginie Barré, Romain Bobichon and Julien Gorgeart invite in each episodes an artist or duo to colour the episodes with their universe: object productions, scenery creations, script proposals, choreographies, staging. The artists who collaborated on this project are Florence Doléac, Camille Girard & Paul Brunet, Olivier Nottelet, Lili Reynaud-Dewar, Yoan Sorin.

The series explores the themes of moving borders and parallel worlds. Based on an unnamed geography, the story of La cascadeure gradually sinks into a paranormal world, gradually immersing the viewer in a poetic and science-fiction universe.
