Briac Leprêtre uses styrodur, a very dense and handy polystyrene, to imitate furniture or transform spaces by appropriating various styles: 18th century woodwork, dresser or fireplace from the 1980s, Japanese chandeliers … Plongeoir, produced in 2008 by 40mcube for the exhibition Anachronismes et autres manipulations spatio-temporelles #1 , is a 2/3 scale reproduction of the concrete plunger of the seawater pool in Saint-Malo.
